Our one-week Summer Bakers Camp is a week of intense baking n cake decorating. During this camp, your lil baker will learn something different in ea h session including but not limited to how to bake cake, donuts, bread, sculpt 2D and 3D cakes, realitic cakes, cookies n so much more. They will also learn the Fundamentals of Baking and Kitchen 101 from some of the most talented instructors who have won baking and cake decorating awards and some have been seen on the food network, cooking channel and other television shows to name a few.

 

They will learn to use fondant and the latest decorating trends. We will provide all supplies for the camp, including an apron for them to wear. However, if you would like to order them a custom chef coat and hat, please purchase them in our online store by June 1st.

 

Our camp this summer will be broken into four sessions. Each session, the students will learn the 'Fundamentals of Baking' but new recipes n designs each session. How exciting that will be. So no session will be the same. Be sure to pay the registration fee as well as choose your sessions below to ensure your lil bakers enrollment.

 

Session 1 June 24th-28th

Cake Rules Everything Around Me!

During this week, we will travel to different countries, making some of their most popular deserts, breads, pastries, and more. This is my favorite week because it will introduce the students to so many other cultural desserts that they would have never tried before or may have and love. During this week they will learn a popular dessert from 5 Different Countrys to include 

 

We will have classes Mon-Thursday and friday we will have our fun field trip day. Each student will receive a certificate of completion on thursday along with a special gift from Chef T & Chef Sierra.

 

Field trip day is Friday to Splash Down Water Park in Manassas, VA. The cost is $48. To pay for the field trip, there is a separate link in the registration tab. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Session 2 July 15th - 19th

Sweet Success Week

 

During this week, the students will learn Fundamentals of baking. They will learn to bake different cakes, as well as how to tort a cake, fill it , ice it, and stack it. They will learn to make beautiful custom buttercream and fondant cakes. They will also learn to do gourmet cookies and custom cookies using royal icing as well as fondant. They will learn to run a baking business and what Sweet Success looks like in all areas of the sweets and oastry world.

We will have classes mon-thursday and friday, and we will have our fun field trip day. Each student will receive a certificate of completion on thursday along with a gift from Chef T & Chef Sierra.

 

Field trip day is Friday to Hershey Park will include Hershey Chocolate Town cost is $97.61 wtransportation parents have the option to drive and the ticket cost does not include transportation Go to the field trip tab for detailed info. ( Parents are encouraged to attend. The cost would be the same for the parents or chaperone.)

 

Session 3 Aug 5-9th

Is it cake? Food Realism Week

 

During this week, we will learn the Fundamentals of Baking. This will be the best week yet because the students will learn to sculp cakes using modeling chocolate and more into fun realistic things. Including realistic food items of their choice. We will even have a fun cake wars contest, and the winner will win an amazing prize.

We will have classes Mon-Thursday and Friday, and we will have our fun field trip day. Each student will receive a certificate of completion on thursday along with a special gift from Chef T & Chef Sierra.

 

Field trip day will be to Our Time Kitchen

Transportation by Borden Transportation

They will have a tour of the new facility and learn from Chef Cat how to make homemade bagels.

We will provide lunch for them. However they can bring their own if they like.

 

Session 3 Aug 12th-16th

Gourmet Delights Week

 

During this week, we will learn the Fundamentals of Baking. During this week, the lil bakers will learn to make exciting holiday items that will allow them to be able to help mom, dad, or grandparents with preparing holiday desserts. They will learn to make delicious things, but staplenitems like pound cakes, red velvet cheesecake, homemade pies, and more.

 

We will have classes Mon-Thursday and Friday, and we will have our fun field trip day. Each student will receive a certificate of completion on thursday along with a special gift from Chef T & Chef Sierra.

 

Field trip day is Friday to Splash Down Water Park in Manassas, VA. The cost is $48. To pay for the field trip, there is a separate link in the registration tab. Parents are encouraged to attend.

 

The time for the camp is 9am-2:30pm. The cost is $395 per student per weekly session ( payment arrangements available). Registration fee is $75, included: baking utensil kit, apron, and tool bag. ( If doing more than one session, only 1 full registration fee is required and $25 registration fee for the other sessions) each session receives different baking tools. There is a sibling discount of $50 off . However, we offer other discounts such as an early registration discount and a multiple session discount. Only one discount or special is accepted. Use code Allthefun24 for multi-session discount. If your child will be attending more than two sessions save $15 off each session after 1.

 

Field trips are a separate cost and listed above. Field trip money is not due at the time of registration. It will be due on Monday and Tuesday of each session. However, Session 2 field trip money is due by July 1st. It can be paid in advance. However, it is not due until then. We know that this is the summer and that sandles are worn. However, students must wear closed toe shoes to camp to ensure the safety of their precious toes accept during field trip day.

 

The location of the cake camp will be at Whimsy Cakes/Hidden Treasures Center 9001 Liberty rd Randallstown, MD 21133, located across the street from Randallstown elementaryschool in the back of Rehoboth International Church.

 

Kitchen Rules , Behavior , Emergency Contact, Pick up , and allergen agreements will be given on the first day of class for all parents to read and sign. We will also email it to you before class, and it will be required to be submitted upon student drop-off.

 

If your child is not able to attend in person camp, we will be having a Virtual Baking Camp as well. There will be 6 sessions.

  • Registration fee is non refundable. Tuition is refundable up to 2 weeks before camp start date. If canceled within 2 weeks of camp, it is non refundable. However, if there is space for another session, the camp tuition can be used towards that session change.
